The heathlands behind Hutt Gully support some amazing examples of coastal heathland and it was important to keep any Boneseed infestations out of these areas. Boneseed was noted in some of the gullies of the Mary White reserve and also on private land. There was also scattered plants in an area of National Park near Urquarts Bluff.
