Kennett River

Boneseed at Kennett River was mostly mapped on Parks Victoria managed land.  These areas were controlled by the Apollo Bay Townies group (from the Southern Otway Landcare Network) and Parks Victoria.

The townies group hand pulled boneseed seedlings in an area previously burnt up Grey River Road. See Jack Pascoe (Pest Plant and Animal Coordinator for the Southern Otway Landcare Network), Valda and Mike in the photo.Parks Victoria removed Boneseed form all areas in the Kennett River area under their management excepting some in thick scrub on Grey River Road which are proposed to be burnt in the coming fire seasons.
